LIGHTING EFFECTS OF MAKEUP

Lighting is very important when it comes to makeup, for texture and pigmentation. Lightning usually depends on what occasions you are going on, Be it a wedding, some party or let it be a dinner/Lunch. There are two tpes of lights i.e Natural lights and artificial light. Our only source of natural light is Sun. when it comes to sun we all get very much conscious because of the UV rays and hence our skin looks more in detailed texture during sunlight. Hence we do our makeup according to that. As its said one should always do a light makeup during the summers because the sun is shining at its brightest and hence it will eventually reflects on our makeup and skin. Sometimes the Powdery touch in your makeup look so artificial that you feel like grossing over it. natural light shows up the true colours. People usually thinks about using colour filters to enhance your hue and warmness or by using color lighting. For your shoots or any other purpose you should definitely follow these lightning rules:

Types of Lighting and Effects on Makeup

Tungsten artificial Light - Creates Orange/Yellow cast that dulls blue tones and darks reds.

Florescent Light - Creates a Green Cast that removes the warmth from colours.

Natural Daylight - Creates a Bluish cast.

Coloured Light Effect on Makeup

Pink - Warms most colours but makes Blues and Greens appear Grey.

Red - Red tones appear lighter, Green shades appear darker, Blue becomes darker and Greyer.

Green - Darkens Red, lightens Green, Blue appears dark Green and Purple appears darker.

Violet - Turns most shades Orange, Browns appear darker and Greens appear Grey.

Yellow - Blues and Greens appear Grey.

Peach - Warms the skin but does not change makeup colours.

These lightning helps for the events, shoots and many other things. If we take the yellow light which will will dull the blue and makes the red darker similarly all other lights have thier own drama which will add up a story to your occasion.
