Infertility in men !

The inability of the sperm to impregnate a woman and have a baby is known as infertility in men.

Infertility is a surprisingly common problem with couples nowadays who are trying to have a baby. About one in six couples are infertile. And in about half of the cases the problem lies with the male.

The most common cause of male infertility is an inability to produce enough sperm in viable numbers. Other causes include damage to the testes from cancer treatments and in other cases sperm can become trapped in the testes by blockages of various kinds.

A very small percentage of men have erectile or hormonal problems that means they can't have sex. After 1 year of trying to conceive you should consult a doctor. You both will undergo a series of tests. Once the results are out it will give clues to the type of infertility and a treatment plan to overcome the problem. More than 90% of male infertility cases are due to poor sperm quality,low sperm counts, or both. The remaining cases can be caused by different conditions including hormonal imbalances, and genetic defects. A critical factor in male infertility are Sperm abnormalities
